In 2024, I had the honor of both organizing and performing at the Carthage Monodrama Festival, a celebration of solo theatrical expression.

I explored Hamlet’s grief, philosophical depth, and slow collapse into paralysis and rage. The monodrama format demanded raw emotional honesty, internal dialogue made external, and the full weight of existential dread channeled through a single voice.

Marwan (Men in the Sun by Ghassan Kanafani)

Marwan is a symbol of disillusionment, migration, and broken dreams. Through subtlety and restraint, I portrayed a young man crushed between hope and abandonment, mirroring the real-life tragedies of those lost to exile.

Macbeth (I am a Macbeth)

“I Am a Macbeth” In this solo reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s tragic antihero, I explored Macbeth not just as a man driven by ambition, but as a fractured soul haunted by guilt, fate, and moral disintegration.
